HIV policy
Caritas Australia's HIV/AIDS
Policy (2005) is approved by the Australian Catholic Bishops'
Commission for Doctrine and Morals.
Make Aid Work
In 2005, following a worldwide call to Make Poverty History, the G8
(USA, Canada, Japan, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Russia) governments
promised to increase the aid and debt relief that they give to poor
countries. They must now keep to their promise. Read the

Fair trade
Caritas supports Fair Trade and its implications on social
