Australia. Caritas Australia is the Catholic Agency for International
Aid and Development in Australia and works with partners in Australia,
Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific to address the causes of
poverty and bring about long-term change. We work to address the causes
of poverty and bring about long-term change, by working with communities
who experience poverty, injustice, hunger and oppression regardless of
their religious, political or cultural beliefs. The Agency is a member
of the Caritas Internationalis network and is active in the
network’s response to emergencies, supporting aid and grassroots
programs in nearly every developing country.
Application Requirements
The following points are necessary in an application for employment
at Caritas Australia:

Only applications which address the Selection Criteria will be
considered for our vacancies.

Caritas Australia requires you to provide the details of two
professional referees with your application.

Applications to work from non residents need to include visa
details and supporting documents.

Employment screening is mandatory for all staff, contractors and
volunteers. This may include a criminal record check and/or a working
with children check.

Requirements will vary from state to state and country to country.
Offers of employment are contingent on satisfactory employment
screening.

All staff, contractors and volunteers are required to comply with
the 100 point proof of identity which is similar to that required when
opening a bank account.
