Water = Life

For many families in rural Cambodia (and around the world), water is a luxury they simply cannot afford. This means that children are drinking dirty water and falling ill.

The gift of clean water can be truly life changing. Clean water means families can grow food on their farm. They can water the garden, grow vegetables and have enough food for their children to eat.

Clean water also means children can wash their hands and are less likely to miss school because of illness.

With your generous support, children can access clean water and spend more time learning in the classroom.

HELP CHILDREN ACCESS CLEAN WATER

A life-changing gift

Like many families in her village in Cambodia, Salin faced constant water shortages which made it difficult to provide safe drinking water for her family. As the principal of her village’s primary school, she would worry about how her students could access clean water.

Watch how her life changed through the support of Caritas Australia and our generous supporters when a water station was installed in her community.

Salin devotes her time and skills to helping others and making sure her village can be prosperous for all people, particularly children.

Her dream is for all children in her village to be healthy and to attend school regularly.
