Caritas Australia's Leadership Team 

Our Leadership Team provides direction to our agency’s core functions, and informs National Council decisions. Paul O’Callaghan, Chief Executive Officer, began as CEO in December 2013. His background includes Executive Director of Catholic Social Services Australia and Executive Director of the Australian Council for International Development.

Chief Financial Officer

Rocky Naickar, Chief Operations and Finance Officer, has over 15 years’ senior leadership experience leading corporate service functions in the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Jamieson Davies
Head of International Programs

Jamieson B. Davies, Head of International Programs, has over 20 years’ experience in the international development sector, and is the Co-Chair of the ACFID Development Practice Committee. Before joining Caritas Australia in 2009 she worked for Caritas USA, Catholic Relief Services, in Africa, Asia and the USA.

Anne McGuire
Head of Mission

Anne McGuire is a member of the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia (ISM) and Papua New Guinea (PNG). For over 25 years, Anne has worked in Catholic Education, particularly in Leadership roles in Religious Education, and in ministry with First Australians in urban and rural areas. Her recent work includes educating young PNG women and participating in the development of a framework for Mission and Advocacy within ISMA, PNG.

Head of Engagement and Sustainability

David Armstrong has substantial social justice, aid and development, fundraising and community engagement experience. Previous roles include Head of Fundraising at Australian Red Cross.
