Walk As One Feature Film

The Walk As One Film tells the story of Scott Hall and Major Cameron from the Northern Territory as they journey with Caritas to visit the Indigenous Yuracaré people of the Bolivian Amazon. It is Scott and Major’s first time overseas, and it is the first time the Yuracaré have met First Peoples outside of their own country.

The meeting and exchange which occurs between these two cultures is both inspiring and transformational, bringing to life the true meaning of solidarity and community led development. The film also explores the much bigger and shockingly similar challenges facing Indigenous communities all over the world, and challenges us to consider our own role in addressing this injustice.
