1: Bottlenecks

In this video Lesley-Anne talks about the progress being made through the Millennium Development Goals and looks at the bottlenecks we need to act on to end poverty in our lifetime.  The three bottlenecks that need to be addressed are: 1. Political will – does it reflect the will of the people?; 2. Prioritising financial resources, putting the Global Financial Crisis in perspective; and 3. Implementing policies that will help the poor.

2: Foreign aid in perspective

Ms Knight helps put the Global Financial Crisis in perspective and talks about how foreign aid budgets play a crucial role in the fight to end poverty.

3: The right policies and climate change

Ms Knight talks about how the right policies need to be implemented to ensure ending poverty remains high on the international agenda.  She also talks about the rising challenge posed to development work by climate change.
