Story Week Five: Y Re from Vietnam Pigitas

Approximately $220 could enable a family in Vietnam to buy and raise four pigs. So that means $55* per pig!

There are so many fish and pig related ways to raise money. For example:

. Bake fish or pig shaped biscuits and sell them.
. A fish or pig fancy dress competition, charge a small entry fee and the winner gets a fishy or piggy type of prize!
. Buy a badge making kit and make your very own fish or pig badges to sell.
. Make your own piggy banks (out of paper mache)!
. Earn money to fill your piggy bank.

* This is an approximate fi gure based on the average cost of purchasing and raising pigs. The cost can vary depending on where the pigs are raised (ie if there is available land then the cost of feeding the pigs is reduced considerably.)
