Ethical Pilgrim's Guide
Many young people will make the journey to Sydney in July this year to attend World Youth Day - here's how you can make sure your trip is ethical and leaves a positive impact. The Ethical Pilgrim's Guide is full of tips on how to be a good traveller and pilgrim.
Join a virtual pilgrimage
As young people all over Australia turn their attention to social justice issues around the world, join in a virtual experience to explore some of the issues facing our own country. View an interactive Flash animation (5MB SWF) which takes you on the journey of a World Youth Day pilgrimage with the Cross and Icon through the 'red centre' of Australia.
The animation follows the journey for four young people as they travel overland from Darwin to Port Augusta, visiting small and large communities. As pilgrims they reflect on social justice issues in Australia and how their faith calls them to act for justice.
