The Kirribillians

One of our memorable moments of Project Compassion 2011 were the Kirribilians who raised a tremendous $1792.00 by holding an online fundraising event with us.

The Kirribillians were a motivated team of eight Year 7 girls from Loreto Kirribilli who walked 15km from Roseville Bridge to Balmoral Beach, trekking through 8km of bush and 7km of road. They walked an epic 4.5 hours and celebrated with a splash by jumping off the Balmoral Beach jetty.

The inspirational team appealed to their family and friends to sponsor them for their fundraising efforts for Project Compassion. They did a fantastic job and with their support, Caritas Australia raised more then $9.7 million for Project Compassion 2011.
