Laxmi is 16. She lives with her mother and siblings in a remote area in Nepal where nearly half the people live below the poverty line. ​​Laxmi joined a child’s club at her school that was run with the support of Caritas Australia’s partner, Caritas Nepal. ​​Laxmi has now finished school, but she is still involved in the child’s club. Now, she helps guide the next generation of young leaders.
