Program Quality and Effectiveness Coordinator, CASI

Honiara, Solomon Islands

We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Program Quality and Effectiveness Coordinator (PQEC) to strengthen the capacity of Caritas Australia Solomon Islands (CASI) staff and partners in program design, monitoring, evaluation and learning; ensuring compliance with CA program management requirements

Full-time, Maximum Duration role based in Honiara, Solomon Islands

About you

You will thrive as the Program Quality and Effectiveness Coordinator if you have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in international development or relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing design, monitoring, evaluation and learning (DMEL) frameworks for programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity building and mentoring of staff, church staff and partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex multi-stakeholder arrangements spread across a range of geographic and socio-economic context.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including experience in cross cultural communication and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically on a regular basis, often on short notice.

About your next role

  • Supporting the design process for CASI programs in consultation with staff and partners.
  • Drive improved effectiveness of CASI programs by strengthening capacity of staff and partners in DMEL.
  • Facilitate improved impact reporting and enable CASI to better communicate the impact of our work in the country.
  • Work with external stakeholders as required to support with their Monitoring and Evaluation requirements in CASI.
  • Ensuring that programs adhere to Caritas Australia’s management standards and able to meet all necessary compliance requirements, both of CA and external donors.
  • Facilitate learning and sharing of good practice.
  • Enable CASI to strengthen its capacity to competitively tender for grants.
  • Facilitate the coordination and finalising of CASI submissions and reports to donors.
