Dear Caritas,

Greetings from Uganda.

I would like to thank you for inspiring our young people to take up action to Be More. Thank you for the amazing resources and restoring hope in our communities.

We believe we can make a difference all over Uganda. So much can be done and really amazing things have happened.

The Be More resources helped me as a youth minister to invite our young people on this journey of making a difference. We started with primary schools and created a Be More Green challenge. The mission was to stand in solidarity with schools to fight for climate justice and reduce the burden it brings to our communities.

Five schools participated in the challenge and the best school was Butale Mixed Community School (pictured). The school made 10 gardens and pupils also told their families about Be More.

The Community Council members were very happy and want everyone to get involved. The campaign has started transforming lives, and more schools have now started school gardens because they have seen how these gardens help the school.

My young people are bringing ideas; they're involving their families. It is amazing to see young people getting involved and trying to make a difference.

We would like to invite more schools, secondary schools, communities and youth groups to participate.

We are very happy to get involved. We can make a difference!
