What a Bug-mazing day!

Last month, students from Bethany Catholic Primary School, Glenmore Park NSW, had lots of fun dressing their teachers up as bugs.
On the bug-themed day, the children had to vote on what bug their teacher had to be. Principal Ted Langford drew the short straw and turned up as a cockroach!
“Everyone got into the spirit of it, even the teachers who, like me, can be a bit reluctant when it comes to dressing up,” he said.
“The emphasis of the day was the cause, raising as much as possible for people in need. We always like to find opportunities to support causes and celebrate, and for the kids to have fun and enjoy being part of the school community.”
The children also dressed up as bugs alongside their teachers. Initially setting a target of $1,000 for Project Compassion, they raised over double – with $2,012 going to the poorest of the poor.
