The Trekking in Solidarity adventure across Nepal is well underway, with the team continuing along their journey of the Annapurna circuit.
The last few days have seen the group make their way through the trail, including a climb to Ghorepani, a large hike to Poon Hill and time in Tadapani. The team have been treated to some stunning views of the Himalayan Mountains along their journey as well as lots of great food and hospitality.
The participants have formed quite the bond so far, said Kerry Stone, one of the participants, who is also the Caritas Diocesan Director for Sandhurst.
“Some of us travel slower than others! But everyone is considerate and we've become a great team.”
Our trekkers are currently in Ghandruk with a few more days left of their epic journey so we wish them well as they continue along the circuit, and hope they enjoy more time meeting with communities impacted by the work supported by Caritas.
