Each year, the Voltaren City2Surf sees tens of thousands of people take to the streets of Sydney to walk, jog or run the iconic 14km course from the heart of the CBD to the world-famous Bondi Beach.

This year, you can join Caritas Australia as a Charity Superstar for your chance to take on this challenge while helping to bring hope to vulnerable communities across Sudan.

As a Charity Superstar, you must commit to raising $1,000 for our Sudan Emergency Appeal and in turn you’ll enjoy free entry to the event (even after general entries have sold out), among plenty of other perks and benefits.

Whether you walk, jog or run, every step you take will help provide critical humanitarian assistance to communities across Sudan who are enduring the unimaginable.

Why Run for Sudan as a Charity Superstar at City2Surf 2026?

Run for free!

As a Caritas Australia Charity Superstar, you’ll enjoy free entry once you hit your $1,000 fundraising target. As soon as you hit your goal, we’ll send you a link to complete your official City2Surf registration at no cost – even once general registrations are sold out.

Give your City2Surf race meaning

As the crisis in Sudan fades from the headlines and humanitarian aid continues to be cut, your support and solidarity is truly more vital now than ever before. By joining Caritas Australia and raising vital funds, you’ll help bring hope and practical support to communities experiencing the darkest of circumstances.

Enjoy the ultimate City2Surf experience

This is your chance to enjoy an enhanced race day experience, with access to a special Superstar starting wave, or any starting wave of your choice, as well as a bespoke Superstar medal as a memento of your incredible impact.

Unlock fundraiser rewards

You’ll also unlock exciting rewards along the way as a thank you for hitting fundraising milestones. Self-donate $24 to earn a pair of Caritas Australia crew socks, raise $150 to secure your race day running singlet, and raise $500 to claim your Run for Sudan water bottle.
