WOMEN FOR THE WORLD 100KM IN SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE

Register for the 100km in September Challenge and raise the highest amount by 11:59pm October 10 2022 for a chance to one of two prizes:  

1. Fitbit Versa 3 (for the Highest Fundraiser in 1st place)

2. Women For The World Water Bottle (for Highest Fundraisers in 2nd to 20th place) 

To qualify for the prize draw an individual must register in the 100km in September Challenge to support Caritas Australia by actively fundraising for the charity through the Facebook Fundraiser platform, by 11:59pm on October 10 June 2022.

This competition is open to all Australian residents 18 years or over who have registered to take on the 100km in September Challenge for Caritas Australia. 

However, employees (and their immediate families) of Caritas Australia, associated agencies and companies connected with this competition are not eligible to enter this competition.

By registering in the challenge and fundraising for Caritas Australia, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and you will automatically be entered with a chance to win one of the prizes as outlined above.

Entry into this competition is limited to one (1) per person.

Fundraising pages activated after October 10 2022 at 11:59pm will not qualify for entry into the prize draw.

The winner of the competition will be drawn on Tuesday October 11 at 3pm. All participants of the competition will be emailed informing them of the winner.

The competition prizes as mentioned above cannot be redeemed for cash.

Caritas Australia shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this competition.

The winner is responsible for ensuring that they are able to accept the prizes as set out in accordance with these terms and conditions. In the event that they are unable to do so, Caritas Australia reserves the right to re-draw the prize.

Winners will be notified by email using the details provided in the registration within 2 days after the closing date of the competition. Winners must provide Caritas Australia with a valid postal address to receive their prize via email within 28 days. Winners will receive their prize via post within 14 days of receiving the valid postal address (Fitbit Versa 3 or WFTW Water Bottle). All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during this time. However, if a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, Caritas Australia reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the valid entries that were received before the closing date. Winners must provide a current email address and postal address to receive their prize. Should your contact details change during the promotional period, it is your responsibility to notify Caritas Australia. 

Caritas Australia reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and/or proof of residency at the nominated postal address to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Caritas Australia. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

Winners will be asked for consent for the use of their names by Caritas Australia for publicity purposes during this campaign. No other use of your personal information will be made without your prior written consent. Your personal information will be stored and handled in accordance with Caritas Australia’s privacy policy available at https://www.caritas.org.au/privacy/. On the occurrence of any event beyond the reasonable control of Caritas Australia, which prevents or significantly hinders Caritas Australia’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism or changes to any applicable laws or regulations, Caritas Australia may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any legal requirements.
