Speak Up! We’re Here to Listen
At Caritas Australia, we care about everyone—especially kids. If something doesn’t feel right, or if you see or hear something that worries you, it’s okay to speak up. We promise to listen and help.
What Is a Complaint?
A complaint is when you tell us something that made you feel:
- Unsafe
- Unhappy
- Unfairly treated
It could be something someone said or did, or something you saw that didn’t seem right.
Keeping You Safe
We work hard to make sure all children are safe and treated with kindness and respect. If something bad happens, we want to know so we can help.
How Can You Tell Us?
You can: Tell a Trusted Adult
This could be:
- Your parent or carer
- A teacher
- A staff member from Caritas Australia
- Any adult you trust
They can help you make a complaint or share your concern. Learn more here.
If you want to tell us something but don’t want anyone to know it was you, that’s okay you’re your trusted adult can make an anonymous complaint through a special service called Stopline.
Why Speaking Up Matters
By speaking up, you help make Caritas a safer and kinder place for everyone. Your voice is important!
Do you have a great idea?
