Laxmi - Nepal Case Study (Primary Y3-6)
This case study with activities shares Laxmi's story.
Laxmi is 16. She lives with her mother and siblings in a remote area in Nepal where nearly half the people live below the poverty line. ​​Laxmi joined a child’s club at her school that was run with the support of Caritas Australia’s partner, Caritas Nepal. ​​
Laxmi has now finished school, but she is still involved in the child’s club. Now, she helps guide the next generation of young leaders.
Laxmi's story first featured in Project Compassion 2023.
