Parish Resources Week 2
This week, Project Compassion introduces us to 13-year-old Sisilia from rural Tanzania, who’s story shows us the transformative impact that access to clean water can create for vulnerable communities.
Check out our top tips to help share Sisilia’s story with your parish this week…
Sisilia's Story
Sisilia is a 13-year-old girl living in remote Tanzania, who had to walk long distances to collect water every day. Thanks to Project Compassion, Sisilia’s school and village now have safe clean water close by and she can spend more time studying so she can fulfil her dreams of one day becoming a pilot.Â
Use this pre-written bulletin notice to help spread the word about Project Compassion.

Reminder – Donation Collections
Please remember to hand out your Project Compassion donation envelopes each week during Mass. Every envelope represents an opportunity to transform lives through faith and generosity.
As a reminder, we have once again consolidated the six weekly Project Compassion envelopes into one single donation envelope. We still warmly encourage the Lenten tradition of weekly giving by taking multiple envelopes from the church.
Remember to also share your fundraising page with your community to encourage online donations. Log into your dashboard to share your page link and unique QR code, or click here to activate your page if you haven’t already done so.
If you need any support with your fundraising or any extra resources, please contact the friendly Project Compassion team on projectcompassion@caritas.org.au or call (02) 7254 5120.
