We are now over halfway through the Lenten season, and halfway through Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion. This week, we hear the story of Manaini, who is learning food processing and gardening skills to create new income opportunities for her family.

Manaini's Story
Life was hard for Manaini and her children living in rural Fiji. With the support from Caritas Australia’s partner, FRIEND, she learnt food processing and gardening skills, improving nutrition and creating new income opportunities to support her children’s education.Â

Paying in your donations
To assist with smooth processing and to ensure your parishioners are receipted in a timely manner, we ask you to please remit donations regularly throughout Lent - there’s no need to wait until the end of the campaign. All donations should be submitted by 31 May 2026.
