Your support is needed

Severe drought, famines and conflict have left millions of people across Africa in urgent need of help. Your donation can provide much needed support to communities facing hunger, poverty and other crises.

You can provide support to families devastated by disasters.

Long-term droughts in East Africa have left families struggling to grow enough food to eat. Women and girls are particularly at risk during droughts, as they need to spend more and more time collecting water for the family, taking them away from school.

Many families lack access to adequate healthcare, clean water and sanitation, and when disasters strike, the steep cost of imported medical and emergency supplies puts some of the most marginalised people at risk. We work with our partners on the ground to get food, clean water and first aid to communities as quickly as possible.

With your help, we can make sure that communities get the emergency supplies they need to survive, rebuild and recover from crises.

The funds raised through this appeal will be used to provide immediate and longer-term humanitarian assistance to communities affected by crises in Africa. Any excess funds will be redistributed to our Africa Regional Appeal to support ongoing emergency efforts across the region.

Zimbabwe Drought Relief

Following a prolonged drought, vulnerable communities in Zimbabwe are facing food shortages. We're providing food to those most at risk, as well as improving the overall health of people in the region by distributing supplies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We're in a unique position to assist communities before, during and after emergencies. Our network reaches across the continent, and also works within parishes, schools and healthcare centres. But we can only continue this work with the help of generous, kind-hearted people, like you.

With your help, we can be there when crises hit, providing essentials for survival: food, water, sanitation supplies and shelter.

Please give what you can so that children, women and men receive the vital supplies they need to rebuild their lives.
