You can help expecting mothers give birth safely

and still going
We need your help to raise $30,000 to provide expecting mothers with healthcare facilities.
$4,000 raised of $30,000 goal.
Your support today is needed to improve rural health facilities. Help provide expecting mothers in PNG with clean water, reliable electricity, and upgraded birthing rooms.
Pregnant mothers are forced to travel 100km's or give birth at home.
In Papua New Guinea, 6 rural health care clinics are in desperate need of upgrades. They grapple with power shortages, leaking roofs, and outdated medical equipment, putting countless lives at risk.
Nurses are forced to carry clean water between buildings, and doctors use torches at night due to a lack of lighting. These dire conditions deter many, especially pregnant mothers, from seeking necessary medical assistance. Shockingly, 9 out of 10 of these maternal deaths are preventable, underscoring the urgent need for change.
With 87% of the population living in rural areas, the need to upgrade these facilities is urgent. Especially for pregnant women, who face life-threatening risks.
Birthing complications are the leading cause of maternal deaths in the region, tragically claiming around 580 women each year.

Your support today helps expecting mothers give birth safely by providing:
Life-saving medical equipment and birthing support
You can provide baby bundles filled with essentials like diapers and maternity pads. Your donation ensures that newborns begin their journey with the care and protection they deserve, offering comfort to both mothers and babies.
Clean, safe and accessible water
Help us bring clean, running water to rural health clinics. Your contribution ensures that every mother and child has access to safe water, reducing the risk of infection and improving overall health outcomes.
Reliable and safe housing for staff
By providing vital infrastructure support, your $150 donation helps maintain safe housing for approximately frontline medical staff. With secure and reliable accommodations, these essential workers can continue delivering critical care to communities in need.
